Experience and enjoy a holiday in Neustift...
Only a few kilometers south of the Tyrolean state capital Innsbruck, the Stubai valley extends approx. 35 km into the breathtaking Stubaier mountains. Covered in deep snow in winter, in summer the Stubai valley presents itself in its dreamlike splendor with its lush green fields and a backdrop of glittering glacial peaks. The legendary 'Zuckerhütl' peaking at 3.507 m is the highest of the Stubaier Alps, home of around 80 glaciers and 40 three thousanders. Being so close to the Stubaier glacier, the picturesque village of Neustift at the end of the Stubai valley is the most popular and well known.
As Austria's third-biggest village, Neustift boasts an excellent infrastructure and many sights to see, like the peak platform „Top of Tyrol on the Stubaier glacier“; from there you can take in a fascinating and unforgettable 360° view of the unique Stubaier mountain range.
Neustift has many surprises in store for you!
Popular in summer as a walking, climbing, paraglider and bike-eldorado, in winter the Stubai valley offers skiing enthusiasts the Stubaier glacier, the largest glacial ski region in Austria, as well as the Elfer, the Schlick 2000 and the Serles lifts in Mieders.
Plenty of perfectly prepared slopes, for all levels of difficulty, await leisure and professional skiers alike.
